Sport: Soccer
Season at a Glance: The diminutive forward leads the Conquistadores (17-5-2) with 24 goals and has helped them reach a City Section semifinal today against Reseda at Poly. Rivera-Otero, a native of El Salvador in his second season of organized soccer, scored 18 goals for the junior varsity team last season.
Week at a Glance: Rivera-Otero scored scored the Conquistadores’ first and third goals in a 3-2 overtime victory over Monroe in the second round of the playoffs. He scored again in a 4-3 overtime victory against Banning in the quarterfinals.

Michelle Greco
School: Crescenta Valley
Year: Senior
Sport: Basketball
Season at a Glance: A preseason All-American, the UCLA-bound Greco averaged 21 points, nine rebounds and five assists in leading the Falcons (24-3) to the No.1 seeding in the Southern Section Division I-AA playoffs. Her bid for a title ended Saturday in a 63-61 upset loss to El Toro, but Greco finished the playoffs averaging 31 points and 12 rebounds.
Week at a Glance: Greco had 31 points and eight rebounds in a 78-49 second-round victory over Bell Gardens and 27 points and 11 rebounds against unseeded El Toro in the quarterfinals.
