Prior Knowledge: Weeks before his wife’s stabbed and bludgeoned body was found, Michael Dally told co-workers that he heard she’d been tortured and handcuffed (B1). Two employees at the Vons store where Dally worked testified Tuesday that Dally quoted “word on the street” about his wife’s fate. . . . His lover, Diana Haun, was convicted of the murder last fall.

Growth Curbs: Credit union officials say disgruntled bankers were behind a recent Supreme Court ruling limiting credit union membership (D11C). “Credit unions have 2% of the market share--what else do the bankers want?” asks Ron McDaniel, above, president of the Point Mugu Federal Credit Union. “They’re trying to penalize us for being successful.”
