Two employees at the Vons store where Dally worked testified Tuesday that Dally quoted “word on the street” about his wife’s fate. . . . His lover, Diana Haun, was convicted of the murder last fall.

Growth Curbs: Credit union officials say disgruntled bankers were behind a recent Supreme Court ruling limiting credit union membership (D11C). “Credit unions have 2% of the market share--what else do the bankers want?” asks Ron McDaniel, above, president of the Point Mugu Federal Credit Union. “They’re trying to penalize us for being successful.”
