<i> Times staff reports</i>
Spurred by the resurgence of the downtown garment district, a local investment consortium has paid $9 million for 11 retail buildings in the area, comprising 70,000 square feet. Los Angeles-based 11th & Main Partners purchased the buildings at 1100-1137 Main St. from the David & Arlene Langman Trust of Beverly Hills, according to Patrick Spillane of Investment Development Services. The shops house accessory wholesalers.
