Stabbing Victim in Fair Condition
A 17-year-old boy was in fair condition at Ventura County Medical Center on Monday after being stabbed numerous times in the chest at a west Ventura park, authorities said.
Police found Randy Holbert of Ventura lying nearly unconscious in a driveway on the 100 block of De Anza Drive about 9:50 p.m. Saturday. Holbert apparently was attacked in nearby Harry Lyon Park. He staggered to a home to ask for help, police said.
No arrests had been reported and police said the incident was under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call 339-4465.
