Dodger Changes Give New Meaning to Think-Blue Week
In the wake of the changing of the guard in Dodgerland, I wanted to commend the Dodgers for reacquiring Southern California native Matt Luke. Luke is a throwback to the glory days of major league baseball. He represents everything that is right about being a professional baseball player. Not only does he have some of the best offensive numbers on the team, but he also is friendly to the fans and stays late to sign autographs after every game.
Why the Dodgers let him go earlier in the season is beyond logic, but at least they had the courage to reacquire him and admit their mistake. Now the bigger issue: What does he have to do to break into the starting lineup?
