Following are valedictorians whose names or pictures were omitted from an earlier list of Ventura County’s top graduates. Those at Oxnard, Channel Islands and Camarillo high schools--where the school year is extended by three weeks--were named after the list was published.

Career plans: Law and politics

Life goals: I want to give back to both American and Filipino society. I want to work here as a lawyer, and then go back to the Philippines to become a human rights lawyer. Then, I want to be a voice for the people in the government.

Life goals: I would like to accomplish many things in life. First of all, I want to graduate from CSULB with a degree in nursing. I hope to obtain the gratitude from people who I help in ameliorating their pains. I would also like to raise a family. Basically, I want to experience all the wonderful aspects of life, from a loving family to a successful career.
