Interviews to Begin for City Manager Post
The City Council will interview five new candidates for city manager on July 2.
The council offered the job to Duarte City Manager Jesse Duff, but he declined the position.
Arcadia City Manager William Kelly was a finalist for the position along with Duff, but he is not among those being considered from a list of 44 candidates, city officials said. Acting City Manager Pat Glover did not apply for the position.
Council members said the list will be narrowed to two finalists after the interviews. Last week, the City Council announced Duff as its choice for manager. But a day after that council meeting, he decided against taking the job.
