Replacements Named for 2 Departing City Officials
City Hall has undergone a major change in leadership with the departure and replacement of both the city manager and city attorney.
After 16 years in the post, City Manager Chris Rope has been replaced by assistant city manager Philip Iriate, officials said.
Meanwhile, Graham Ritchie has been replaced by the law firm of Burke, Williams & Sorensen. Burke, Williams’ Michele Vadon will serve as city attorney.
During Rope and Ritchie’s tenure, the city of nearly 700 has become a thriving commercial center, city officials said.
