Juice Stop Picks a CEO
Juice Stop Franchising Corp. said Thursday it has tapped veteran Orange County fast-food executive Raymond J. Perry to become its chief executive.
Perry, 56, of Villa Park, was president of El Pollo Loco when he left in September 1995 to become chief operating officer of Hardee’s Food Systems in Rocky Mount, N.C. In that position, he helped negotiate Hardee’s sale to Anaheim-based CKE Restaurants, Inc., which owns Carl’s Jr.
Perry also has been an executive vice president at Carl’s Jr. chain and once owned the Kelly’s Coffee & Fudge Factory chain, which is based in Beverly Hills.
With Perry at the helm, Juice Stop said it is laying expansion plans with a goal of opening 657 new stores nationwide. The company now has 93 stores.
Juice Stop, founded in Lake Forest in 1993, is now based in Englewood, Colo.
