Orosco Gives Palmdale Victory Over Paraclete

Ricky Orosco’s run-scoring single in the ninth inning gave Palmdale a 2-1 victory over Paraclete in a District 20 baseball game Wednesday at Palmdale High.

Chris Testa of Palmdale (5-6) struck out 11 batters and allowed three hits in five innings before giving way to Mark Hendricks (3-0), who pitched four shutout innings.

Encino Crespi 6, Woodland Hills El Camino Real 5--Mike Jackson stuck out the final two batters with the potential go-ahead run on base to help hand Woodland Hills its first loss at Valley College.

Jackson finished with 12 strikeouts for Encino (11-1).
