Seminar to Focus on Stress Management
A free seminar discussing ways to reduce stress will be held at Kaiser Permanente Woodland Hills on Wednesday.
Three speakers will explain different stress-reduction techniques. Experts will discuss medical, physical and holistic approaches to stress management, said Lisa Kort, a spokeswoman for the hospital.
The event is sponsored by the hospital’s Woman’s Wellness Committee, a group that meets to discuss health issues.
The committee tries to get an enhanced view of health issues that are facing women, Kort said.
“Stress by far is the one issue on most people’s minds,†she said.
Registration begins at 6 p.m. with the program running from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in auditoriums A, B and C.
Attendees should come in through Entrance 5. The hospital is at 5601 De Soto Ave.
To register, call (818) 719-4305.
