Dishington Is Big in the Texas League

Nate Dishington (Hoover High) was selected the Texas League’s player of the week for June 6-13.
Dishington, a first baseman for St. Louis’ double-A affiliate Arkansas, had five home runs and 10 runs batted in during a five-game span.

Jason Regan of the Lancaster JetHawks was chosen the California League’s player of the week after going nine for 19 with 10 walks for a .655 on-base percentage in six games.
