Brea Company to Convert Traveler’s Inns

Red Roof Inns Inc. said Wednesday it has signed a franchise agreement with Campbell Motel Properties Inc., a Brea operator of 35 economy motels, to convert 17 of its existing Traveler’s Inns properties and construct a new hotel at Denver International Airport under the Red Roof Inns name.

Red Roof said the first properties to be converted are in Buena Park, Sacramento and Stockton, as well as Brownsville and Wichita Falls, Texas. All Traveler’s Inns are expected to convert to Red Roof franchises no later than June 1999.
