Parking Permits for Residents Offered
To free residents from having to feed quarters into meters, the city is issuing new shoppers’ parking permits.
The permits are available to all Laguna Beach residents, with a limit of four per household. The first two are $60 apiece, while additional permits cost twice that.
The permits also are available to residents within the Laguna Beach Unified School District, with a limit of two per household. The first costs $90; a second is $120.
Proof of residency is required.
The current permits expire at the end of July, while the new ones will be good from Aug. 1 to July 31, 2000. Current permit holders will receive their applications in the mail.
Residential parking permits, business permits and nonresident senior citizen permits also expire next month.
