High School Closed After Discovery of Fake Bombs
Students at Ganesha High got the day off school Thursday because authorities found four suspicious devices.
A Sheriff’s Department robot later determined they were fake pipe bombs.
Three of the devices were found by an assistant principal shortly before 7 a.m. and the fourth was found during a sweep of the school by the bomb squad, authorities said.
Students were not in school when the suspicious devices were found. Those who arrived later were told to come back Friday.
Pomona police said they are searching for those responsible for the incident and always take such events seriously.
