Family Resource Center Sponsors Festival at Park
The Hathaway Family Resource Center is sponsoring the second annual San Pascual Family Festival on Saturday, a event in Highland Park featuring live music, theater and information booths from community agencies.
The festival is an opportunity for local residents to showcase positive activities and opportunities, organizers said.
At noon, Teatro de la Realidad, the center’s community theater group, will perform an adaptation of an ancient Egyptian myth about Isis and Osiris. Local schools created a replica Nile River that will be used as a set in the play.
The festival will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in San Pascual Park at 900 San Pascual Ave. Information: (213) 257-9600.
