To celebrate National Cancer Survivor’s Day for the 10th year, Hoag Cancer Center is again hosting its Celebration of Life Festival on Sunday.
About 400 cancer survivors will participate in the festivities, which will include local entertainers, food, raffles and activities for children. Cancer prevention literature will be available.
The event, which has grown in the past decade from a small gathering to a large, outdoor festival, will be at the Patty and George Hoag Cancer Center at Hoag Hospital, 1 Hoag Drive, Newport Beach. The festival, which runs from 2 to 3:30 p.m., is free, but reservations are required.
