It doesn’t take a genius to interpret your “code” comments in the controller’s race:
The challenger has a “fresh perspective . . . an energetic alternative . . . will be more aggressive.” The incumbent, on the other hand, is merely “75.”
How about some “code” for his 28 years’ experience: “seasoned, mature, stable”?
Come on, Times, your endorsement ought to resonate something other than naked ageism.
