Zodiac Beats Seals

The Zodiac scored one minute into the game and added two more goals to defeat the San Francisco Bay Seals, 3-1 in A-League soccer Sunday at UC Irvine.

Steve Patterson, with an assist from Tayt Ianni, scored the Zodiac’s first goal. Patterson also had an assist on Brad Wilson’s goal, which came in the 23rd minute.

The Seals’ Ryfhiem Henderson scored midway in the second half to trail by one goal. But P.J. Polowski put the game away for the Zodiac, scoring in the 69th minute on an assist from Mike Matson.

The Zodiac (7-4) is in first place in the Western Conference. San Francisco Bay is 4-8.
