Police Identify Woman Killed in Car Crash

Police identified a woman who was fatally injured in a Yorba Linda car crash Saturday evening.
Janice Lannon, 38, of Yorba Linda was pronounced dead after her car struck a light pole near Fairmont Boulevard and Shadow Oak Drive, Brea Police Lt. Douglas Dickerson said.
The accident occurred about 7 p.m.
Her passenger, Robert Allen Wellner, 28, of Anaheim, was in critical condition at Western Medical Center-Santa Ana, Dickerson said.
Witnesses said the car was traveling at high speed before the driver lost control, struck the pole and overturned.
