Man Stabbed in Heart During Argument Dies

A man who was stabbed in the heart during an argument died later at a hospital, police said Monday.
The slaying occurred about 5:30 p.m. Sunday during an argument between two men in an apartment on Stoner Avenue near Santa Monica Boulevard, said Det. Ron Phillips of the West Los Angeles Station.
The victim, who died at UCLA Medical Center, has not yet been identified.
He was believed to be in his late 20s or early 30s, Phillips said.
Police have a suspect in the killing, but he is still at large, Phillips said. An investigation is ongoing.
