A Ventura man was arrested at his home on suspicion of possessing and possibly selling methamphetamines, officials said Saturday.
David Haney, 32, was served with a search warrant by Ventura County sheriff’s deputies about 7:30 p.m. Friday at his trailer in the 4100 block of Ventura Avenue, where he lived with three small children.
Deputies found 12 grams of methamphetamines worth $700 to $800 as well as other items that indicated the drugs were being sold, officials said.
Child Protective Services would not comment Saturday on whether they took the children into custody, but one neighbor in the trailer park at 4197 N. Ventura Ave. said the two boys and one girl are with another neighbor and a relative.
Haney was being held Saturday in lieu of $20,000 bail at the Ventura County Jail.
