Stores Offer Discount for Fair Ride Tickets

Thrill-seekers have the opportunity to purchase unlimited rides for select days and hours at the Ventura County Fair with a discount coupon available beginning Saturday.
The $5 coupon will be available at RiteAid, Wal-Mart and AT & T Wireless Services retail stores and can be used when purchasing the $14 unlimited ride wristbands, available Aug. 5 and 6 and 10 through 13 at the fair.
The unlimited rides are valid from noon to 6 p.m. the day of the wristband purchase.
Without the wristband, ride tickets cost 60 cents each, and most rides require two to five tickets.
