Thanks for your article “Dude Ranches Cater to Cowgirls” (Her World, June 7). I had an incredible experience a couple of years ago at McNamara Ranch in Florissant, Colo. [tel. (719) 748-3466], run by Sheila McNamara. It’s a small, working sheep ranch that can only accommodate four guests at a time--generally women. We rode horses all morning, helped Sheila with chores in the afternoon (optional) and soaked in the hot tub each evening. Now that’s my idea of ranch life!
