Skett Gets New Start for Knoxville

Outfielder Will Skett (Reseda High, Valley College) came off the disabled list Saturday after missing two weeks with a pulled right hamstring and was in the starting lineup for Knoxville, the Toronto Blue Jays’ double-A affiliate, at Greenville.
Skett was batting .246 with three home runs and 31 runs batted in at the time of his injury on July 3.

Mike Glendenning (Crespi High, Pierce College) has struggled since being sent to Class-A San Jose last week by the San Francisco Giants.
Glendenning, who batted .244 with seven home runs and 33 RBIs for double-A Shreveport, is at .136 (three for 22) in six games at San Jose.

Catcher Brian Luderer (Crespi) was sent from Class-A Modesto to rookie-level Southern Oregon by the Oakland Athletics on Monday.

Catcher-first baseman Andy Skeels (Thousand Oaks High, Oxnard College) signed with the Somerset Patriots of the independent Atlantic League on July 6.
