Amplicon Inc. said it expects earnings for the fourth quarter ended June 30 to be 18% to 20% greater than year-ago figures, but that its revenue will likely be about 15% lower. The Santa Ana high-technology leasing company attributed the decrease in revenue to lower equipment sales and the loss of new business expected for the quarter. The company earned $4.6 million, or 78 cents a share, on revenues of $82.3 million in the fourth quarter of 1997.
