Music Under the Stars Features Tex Beneke

Mission San Juan Capistrano’s Music Under the Stars concert series continues today with Tex Beneke and his Orchestra.
The rest of the series is as follows:
* Aug 8: Kinda Dixie, performing jazz and Big Band sounds from Las Vegas.
* Aug. 22: Swingfest with Tony Guerrero.
* Sept. 12: Brasilia Band with Katia Maraes.
* Sept. 26: Max Bishop Orchestra, featuring the Big Band music of the Dorsey Brothers, Benny Goodman and more.
All of the concerts are from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Admission for the concerts tonight and Aug. 8 is $10. The cost on the other nights is $10 for adults, $9 for seniors, or $8 for Preservation Society members. Tables for groups of 10 also are available.
Tickets are available at the front gate or by calling (949) 248-2048. Proceeds benefit the mission’s preservation efforts.
