City Councilwoman Linda Parks is scheduled to take part in a debate on growth control at a public meeting Saturday.
The meeting is hosted by the Thousand Oaks chapter of United We Stand America to address the Save Open Space and Agricultural Resources initiative, which will be on the November ballot for many of the area’s cities and for the county as a whole.
Attorney Chuck Cohen, who often represents developers seeking approval of their projects, has been invited to attend as well, said organizer Mike Mills.
The meeting is free and open to the public, but seating is limited. The program will be taped for rebroadcast on public-access channel 8 at 7:30 p.m. July 28.
The meeting is scheduled for 2 p.m. at the Thousand Oaks Library.
