Bollini, Won Tie for Ninth

Yorba Linda’s Nico Bollini and Ronald Won of Irvine finished tied for ninth in the boys’ 15-17 division of the Junior World Championships on Friday at Torrey Pines’ south course.
Won shot a final-round 71 and Bollini had 72 to finish at 288, four strokes off the lead. Taro Hiroi of Kouchi, Japan, shot 71 to win the division by one stroke. Lake Forest’s Donald Rhe finished at 294, tied for 24th.
Dorothy Delasin of Daly City won the girls’ 15-17 division by six shots with a four-day total of 292 on Torrey Pines’ north course.
