Kathleen C. Ramirez; Ventura Homemaker
Lifelong Ventura County resident Kathleen C. Ramirez died Wednesday. She was 68.
Ramirez was born in Ventura on March 11, 1930. She was a homemaker.
Ramirez was preceded in death by her grandparents, Joseph and Rebecca Olivas-Yanez, and her parents, Peter and Connie Herrera.
Ramirez is survived by her husband, John J. Ramirez of Ventura; two sons, Anthony Ramirez of Ventura and John Ramirez Jr. of Los Angeles; three daughters, Denise Lively of Ventura, Mary Lou Mallermee of Merced and Linda Rocha; two brothers, Vincent Lomale of Burbank and Daniel Montalvo; five sisters, Loretta MacDaniels of Alabama, Helen Siquie of Burbank, Janet Salazar and Juanita Herrera, both of Ventura, and Diane Montalvo of Port Hueneme; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
There will be a visitation from 2 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the Joseph P. Reardon Funeral Home in Ventura. A rosary will be said the same day at 7 p.m.
Services will be at 9 a.m. Monday at the San Buenaventura Mission in Ventura. Ramirez’s cousin, Father Bill Olivas, will officiate. Burial will follow at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park in Ventura.
