Anaheim Eatery Robbed; Police Seeking Information
A man who said he had a gun robbed an Anaheim restaurant, police said, and escaped with an undetermined amount of cash.
The man entered Millie’s Restaurant just before 10 p.m. Wednesday, walked up to the counter and showed the cashier a note demanding money, Anaheim Police Sgt. Joe Vargas said.
The man said he had a gun in a small bag he was carrying, though a weapon was never displayed, Vargas said.
After receiving the cash, the man fled the restaurant, which is in the 1400 block of South Harbor Boulevard.
Witnesses told police the robber was white, 25 to 30 years old, 5 feet, 7 inches tall, with short, sandy-colored hair and light-colored eyes.
He was wearing a black tank top, police said. One witness described him as having a discolored front tooth and a blemish or discoloration on one of his biceps.
