4 Hurt in Suspected Gang-Related Shooting
Four people were wounded, two of them critically, when gunmen opened fire Thursday in a shooting that may have been gang-related, police said.
The incident occurred shortly after 3 p.m., when three or four men in a gold Mercedes-Benz began shooting, striking two men and two women who were standing in the 200 block of East 77th Street, Los Angeles Police Officer Don Cox said.
A 31-year-old man and a 14-year-old girl were taken to a hospital in critical condition, city fire spokesman Brian Humphrey said. A 53-year-old man and another 14-year-old girl were less seriously injured, he said.
The suspects were last seen driving east on 77th Street, authorities said.
