Printronix Posts Lower 1st-Quarter Income

Irvine-based Printronix Inc., a printer manufacturer, posted net income of $3.3 million, or 38 cents a share, for the first fiscal quarter, down 8% from $3.6 million, or 35 cents a share, a year ago. Sales for the quarter ended June 26 rose 5% to $45.7 million from $43.7 million.
