New Natural History Assn. Museum Opens on Friday

Supervisor Tom Wilson will preside over a grand opening ceremony Friday for the Orange County Natural History Assn.’s new museum in Aliso and Wood Canyons Regional Park.
The grand opening will include a demonstration about how officials prepare and sort fossils for exhibition. Children can re-create fossils with molds provided by the museum. There also will be a demonstration on Acjachemem culture.
Friday’s events go from 2 to 5 p.m. The museum is in a double-wide trailer near a park lot, off Awma Road and Alicia Parkway.
