Spotlight: North Face to Move Headquarters to Colorado
- Share via
North Face Inc., which makes mountaineering equipment and sportswear, is planning to move its headquarters to Carbondale, Colo., next month from San Leandro. The company will move its sales, marketing and research departments and most of its top executives. The move will allow workers to field-test the latest designs in nearby mountains and rivers while letting the company expand at a lower cost. It expects to spend $6 million moving about 70 employees, with 175 staying in San Leandro.
