Video Kiosks Detail Freeway Project

Motorists who want to learn more about why the Santa Ana Freeway is under construction can visit interactive video kiosks at UCI Medical Center in Orange and the GNC store at Anaheim Plaza.
The kiosks provide information about the $1.1-billion freeway improvement plan, which features the addition of carpool lanes and new ramps on a 9 1/2-mile stretch. Project brochures and commuter coupons offered by area businesses are also available.
The computerized kiosks allow the public to quickly navigate through about 20 minutes of video, including an overview of the freeway project and artist renderings. Information is available in English and Spanish.
The medical center is at 101 The City Drive; the kiosk is in the hospital’s main entrance off Medical Center Drive. GNC is in the shopping center at 580 N. Euclid St., Anaheim. The kiosks will remain at these two sites through Aug. 5. Information: (949) 724-2077.
