Williams Starts Rehabilitation

New York Yankee center fielder Bernie Williams, who has been on the disabled list since June 11 with a sprained right knee, will begin a rehabilitation assignment today with the Tampa Yankees of the Florida State League. . . . The Minnesota Twins sent Scott Stahoviak to triple-A Salt Lake City. Stahoviak batted .105 (two for 19) with one home run and one RBI in nine games after being called up June 22. The Twins will make a roster move after the All-Star break to replace Stahoviak
