Sears Seeks Investors for HomeLife Stores

Sears, Roebuck & Co. is seeking investors or partners for its unprofitable HomeLife furniture stores, which otherwise might be sold off. The suburban Chicago-based retail giant operates 126 freestanding HomeLife outlets and 25 that are located in Sears department stores.
