JonBenet’s Parents to Finally Break Silence
The parents of JonBenet Ramsey, who have not spoken publicly in more than a year, break their silence in a documentary to be aired this week on British television, Newsweek reports in its upcoming issue. In the interview, John and Patsy Ramsey proclaim their innocence and say they are worried the killing of their daughter may never be solved. JonBenet, 6, was found beaten and strangled Dec. 26, 1996, at the family’s Boulder home. There have been no arrests in the case, which is now in the hands of the district attorney. Authorities have said only that the Ramseys are under suspicion in their daughter’s death. The Ramseys have denied any involvement. The couple was interviewed for the documentary in their Atlanta home in mid-February, producer David Mills said.
