In the Garden Grove League:
Pacifica 74, La Quinta 38--Jaymee Pendergast scored 31 points for Pacifica (13-7, 7-0).
In the Golden West League:
Ocean View 39, Saddleback 29--Anna Lembke had 26 points and 15 rebounds for host Ocean View (10-11, 3-3).
Tustin 56, Santa Ana 22--Brook Brown had 23 points and 20 rebounds and Susana Jara scored 21 points for Tustin (16-4, 5-1).
In the Olympic League:
Cerritos Valley Christian 39, Calvary Chapel 30--Cathy Joens, 0-for-15 shooting, scored only one point for Calvary Chapel as Valley Christian (15-6, 4-2) upset the Eagles (17-4, 5-1). Christy Ring scored 16.
Brethren Christian 55, Whittier Christian 33--Cindy Oparah (24 points, 15 rebounds) led Brethren Christian (12-8, 4-2).
In the Orange League:
No. 1 Brea Olinda 85, Western 29--Erin Kelly scored 22 points and Chelsea Trotter 17 for Brea (19-1, 6-0).
In the Pacific Coast League:
Costa Mesa 53, Aliso Niguel 52--Julie Collett (20 points) hit one of two free throws with nine seconds remaining as Costa Mesa (9-13, 5-1) pulled into a tie with Aliso Niguel (11-10, 5-1). Tara Mutukisna and Kristin Moorhouse scored 18 apiece for Aliso.
Estancia 38, Laguna Hills 37--Lisa Hirata’s only point, a free-throw with two seconds remaining, lifted Estancia (7-14, 3-3). Shannon Owens scored 12 points for the Hawks (4-13, 2-4), who tied it, 37-37, after trailing by 11 with six minutes remaining.
In the Sea View League:
No. 9 El Toro 66, Newport Harbor 35--Giuliana Mendiola scored 20 points for El Toro (19-2, 6-0).
In the South Coast League:
No. 4 San Clemente 63, Dana Hills 26--Molly Ela made four three-pointers and had 16 points for San Clemente (19-4, 5-1).
Trabuco Hills 54, Mission Viejo 52--Emily Deeley’s layup with three seconds remaining produced a victory for Trabuco Hills (13-8, 3-3). Suzanne Linn scored 21 points for the Mustangs. Freshman Lindsey Huie scored 22 points for Mission Viejo (7-11, 0-6).
In the Sunset League:
Huntington Beach 71, No. 8 Edison 63--Megan Masuda scored 18 points as the Oilers (12-11, 3-3) overcame a seven-point third-quarter deficit. Edison is 18-4, 3-3.
No. 2 Esperanza 64, Los Alamitos 34--Leah Combs scored 17 points to tie the career scoring record for Esperanza (15-6, 6-0). Lindsay Foss set the mark in 1996. Kim Omer had 15 points, seven steals and six assists for the Aztecs.
No. 5 Marina 86, Fountain Valley 51--Chanda McLeod had 23 points, seven rebounds and four assists as Marina (18-4, 5-1) beat the visiting Barons (4-18, 0-6.
