UCI’s Weber Is Volleyball Player of Week

UC Irvine’s Cory Weber has been named Mountain Pacific Conference player of the week for men’s volleyball.
Weber, a 6-foot-7 junior outside hitter, had 15 kills as the Anteaters swept eighth-ranked UC Santa Barbara on Jan. 20. It was the first time Irvine has beaten the Gauchos, ending a 19-game losing streak.
Irvine is 4-0 this season.
