Williams Has Colon Infection
After complaining of severe stomach pain after Friday’s practice, senior forward Gary Williams was diagnosed with a colon infection, USC officials said.
Williams was taken to USC University Hospital with a 104-degree temperature and is expected to be released today, Coach Henry Bibby said.

In the midst of a three-game losing streak, Bibby, who has used 11 starting lineups in 17 games this season, continues to use practices as an audition.
“Everybody sees the different lineups and want to know why,” Bibby said. “They tell us who starts and plays a lot of minutes--by the way they play in practice.”
