Board to Hear Details on Beechwood School
A timeline, estimated costs and other details regarding the reopening of Beechwood School will be unveiled tonight at a school board meeting.
District staff members and a consultant from an architectural firm will make the presentation.
Since 1981, the district has rented the school to the Fullerton Joint Union High School District for its headquarters, but the high school officials will move out by the end of this school year.
The elementary district decided to reopen the campus because of overcrowded conditions at most of its other schools.
In other business, the board will consider adopting a policy regarding transportation fees and discuss the state School Boards Assn. self-assessment program.
The 7 p.m. meeting will be in the district office, 1401 W. Valencia Drive.
