Charles R. Adams, the founder and chief executive at Chad Therapeutics Inc., is retiring as CEO at the end of the company’s current fiscal year on March 31.
Adams will retain his post as chairman of Chad.
* Thomas E. Jones, Chad’s vice chairman, will become the company’s new CEO.
Chad, headquartered in Chatsworth, supplies respiratory and long-term oxygen therapy for both hospitals and home health care.
* Rudolph E. Lang, the chief financial officer at Litton Industries Inc., plans to retire by April.
Lang, 62, has been CFO at Litton since 1994, and before that served as senior vice president and controller. Lang joined the company in 1962 and has held various financial posts since then. Lang will also resign from the company’s board of directors.
Litton, based in Woodland Hills, is a major defense contractor and shipbuilder.
* Betty Andrews of Manpower Temporary Services in Camarillo has been named 1997 Manager of the Year for the Los Angeles Northeast area. Kelley Stanz of the same office was named Representative of the Year.
Andrews has managed the Camarillo Manpower office for three years. Stanz has been with Manpower for more than two years.
* Trudi Helgeson and Irma Heffner have been named assistant vice presidents and residential real estate loan officers in Ventura County for Santa Barbara Bank & Trust. Helgeson will work out of the Camarillo office and Heffner will work in Oxnard.
Helgeson was most recently a loan consultant for Lee & Jackson Financial Services. Heffner was a loan officer with New Century Mortgage Corp. in Oxnard.
