Ducks Taking It Easy and That’s a Problem

Helene Elliott’s Jan. 13 assessment of the Mighty Ducks’ agenda was right on. Jack Ferreira’s lethargic attitude in trying to get skilled players to help them get into the playoffs shows that Michael Eisner has no intentions of spending money to make them a playoff-caliber team. If they are content to stay nothing more than a profitably mediocre team, I assure you they will eventually be seeing more empty seats at the Pond.
