Two Water Agencies Keep Kids Current
In an ongoing effort to educate students about water issues, Mesa Consolidated Water District and the Municipal Water District of Orange County are visiting local schools as part of an annual program.
From kindergarten to high school, students are getting lessons on conservation, the history of water supplies, treatment procedures and other issues.
Part of Mesa’s water education program, developed more than 20 years ago, is used by the Municipal Water District in Orange County schools. Every year the program is updated for each grade level to include the most current issues in the water industry.
