The rumors swirling around Philadelphia Eagle offensive coordinator Jon Gruden and the Oakland Raiders’ coaching vacancy intensified Wednesday, with Fox TV reporting a deal was complete.
In the past few days, various news outlets have reported Gruden was the top choice for the vacancy created when Joe Bugel was fired Jan. 6.
Raider spokesman Mike Taylor said Wednesday night there was nothing new in the search for a coach.
