Nationwide Health Properties Inc.: The Newport Beach real estate investment trust, which invests in health care facilities, said net income for the fourth quarter reached $15.7 million, or 36 cents a share, up 5% from the $14.9 million, or 36 cents a share, a year ago. Revenue climbed 31% to $32.9 million from $25.2 million. For the year, net income rose 13% to $61.9 million, or $1.47 a share, from $54.9 million, or $1.36 a share, for 1996. Included in 1997 net income was a gain of $829,000 from the sale of a facility. Revenue increased 21% to $115.7 million from $95.8 million.
