Launch Pad to Offer Animal Attractions
Children can view exotic animals at a special exhibit Jan. 31 and Feb. 1 at the Launch Pad.
The program hosted by Wild Wonders, a group from Carlsbad, features a macaw, kinkajou, boa constrictor, monkey and other critters. Volunteers will be called onto the stage to touch the animals and view them up close.
A portion of the program teaches children what they can do to help preserve and protect the world’s rain forests.
After the show, children can participate in activities and crafts, including creating animal masks.
Shows are at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. both days. The cost is $3.25 for members and $5.75 for nonmembers. Tickets can be reserved by phone.
The Launch Pad is on the third floor of Crystal Court, 3333 Bear St.
