Musicians Sought for Jr. Philharmonic
Musicians ages 12 through 25 are encouraged to try out for Los Angeles’ Jr. Philharmonic Orchestra, led by conductor Ernst Katz.
The orchestra, which is scheduled to perform its 61st anniversary concert gala at the Shrine Auditorium in May, is currently auditioning for a solo pianist and is also holding auditions for those who play instruments including trumpet, French horn, trombone, tuba, bassoon and string-bass.
There are no audition or membership fees for the orchestra.
